A personal agent framework would identify and implement common components of personal agents. ∙ There is little work towards personal agent frameworks where such issues such as those in the previous two bullet points are addressed together. Work towards profile standardisation such as OPS is important. For example, how do you maintain an up-to-date profile and how do you tests its usefulness whilst keeping it private and secure? Users must trust their personal agents in order to volunteer information to them. ∙ Naturally, issues of trust, information privacy, security and ontology remain important research issues. However, such work is still in its infancy. You detect interest migration? Information sharing amongst personal agents belonging to the same user makes much sense as well as agent collaboration in order to perform tasks for their users.
